Wessex Equestrian can supply a D.I.Y Riding Arena/Menage kit, which should not be difficult for a competent Landowner/Contractor to install. Always remember that size matters. It is always better to try to build an arena slightly larger than you originally considered. You don't want to get all the way to the end and realise it's too small. The type of riding you do will determine what size arena you need. An arena intended for lessons or regular clinics should be larger than one that will be primarily be used for individual schooling. Standard dressage arenas measure 20 X 40 metres or 20 X 6O metres, although a good multi-purpose dimension is 30 X 60 metres.
