We have been rearing pedegree Gloucester old spot pigs here for 7 years.The emphisis has always been on animal welfare and taste. Happy pigs reared out doors as they should be taste great. The old breeds are designed for this they are hardy for the outdoor life and naturally root around in the soil. Our choice of Gloucester old spots was also to keep alive a then almost extinc breed.We are a small artisan producer only processing pigs that are born on our farm and turning them into pork products in a way they were in the old days.when you buy locally from small producers you are not only supporting local buisness but are reducing your "food miles",reducing the impact on the enviroment and getting fresher quality produce from producers who pay attention to animal welfare and how the food on your plate tastes!
